Based in the East Midlands, we offer full range of residential and commercial architectural services. We work across Leicester and Leicestershire, and further afield, designing spaces for people to live and work in. Whatever the brief, and whatever challenges we might encounter along the way, we make sure your needs are met in full.
Experienced Designers
Swain Architecture was founded by experienced architect Elizabeth Rhodes in 2016. Leicestershire-born Izzy is a RIBA-approved architect who is known for her clear vision and attention-to-detail. Working closely with her clients, she’ll work with you to transform ordinary spaces into high-spec builds.
Her passion for architecture began in early childhood when she seized every opportunity she could to design elaborate dream properties!
She’s come a long way since then, and now sits on the committee for both the RIBA East Midlands Education Group and the RIBA Housing and Planning group.

Trusting someone to design your ideal space is a big responsibility and at the beginning of the process it might seem daunting.

We are a Chartered Practice of the Royal Institute of British Architecture (RIBA) and follow their key stages in order to adhere to the highest standards and protect our clients. These stages typically fall into three phases, pre-planning design, technical design and on-site. Planning applications and work starting on-site are major milestones on the road to you getting your new set of keys.
